3 science-backed ways to improve your mood

As a coach interested in performance and a quality life, I always tell my clients that big changes are usually the result of small steps taken regularly.

You don’t have to change your whole life at once, the idea is to start somewhere. Start. The biggest effort is at the beginning, then you just have to improve the condition.

Doing small things every day can add up and make a big difference. The key word is every day!

Experience has shown that you learn to play the guitar better and faster if you practice 30 minutes for 6 days, than 6 hours once a week.

Here are three simple, science-backed recommendations that have worked for me to improve my mental well-being every day:

Mindfulness.

Mindfulness

According to research from Kabat-Zinn (2003), even just a few minutes of mindfulness each day reduces stress and feelings of anxiety. Try focusing deeply on your breathing or savoring every bite during meals to calm your mind.
