Awareness and Overcoming the Inner Critic
Self-doubts could be replaced with unshakable belief. Every day could be lived without being dragged down by anything or anyone. What would life be like with this mindset for a week, a month, or even a year?
There’s a key difference between those who truly live up to their potential and those who fail to reach it.
The relationship with the “inner critic” can hinder many talented individuals from reaching their potential. Perfectionists often don’t measure up to their real talent due to this sometimes overly noisy inner critic.
What is the “inner trickster”?
The “inner trickster” is the term I use to describe the internal critical voice or self-criticism that people experience in their minds. It’s that inner voice that can be negative and self-destructive, criticizing the choices, actions, or performances of the individual and fueling self-doubt or feelings of unworthiness. It’s a role played by a practically imaginary character who is “deceptive” because it distorts or falsifies the individual’s perception of themselves. It often leads to self-sabotage or the adoption of pessimistic and limiting perspectives on one’s own abilities and potential.
