Confronting Square Heads

Once upon a time, a fool said, “You can’t have it all.” Many innocents followed him, and we innocently repeated it to others. They were trying to figure out what it’s like to live in this world. That’s how experts in management, marketing, and personal development emerged. The most fervent followers of the idea, however, became a species of IT specialists.

They formed a sort of sect called “Square Heads.”

Thus, entire lists of issues emerged that they defined as impossible. Their enemies were the thoughts and solutions that went beyond their Square Heads box. And they stubbornly refused to accept their existence!

They labeled them as “exceptions,” “unscientific,” or “retrograde,” and they scorned them with fury. Sometimes they even burned at the stake those who didn’t belong to their sect. Literally or figuratively. They even had public executions, both literally and figuratively.

Because they acted scientifically and in accordance, the Square Heads considered themselves the Supreme Judge and attributed themselves the right to life and death over innocents who were trying, with more or less success, to find their own way in this world.

All because of Square Heads who didn’t know when to stop.

There were people who had it all. They kept it a secret because a Square Head…
