Little Secrets of Sun Tzu’s Epic Strategies Unlocking the Power of Ancient Wisdom for Modern Success; business; life; strategy

The best way to win a war is not to fight at all, and that’s exactly what Sun Tzu advocates.

When we talk about The Art of War, it’s easy to think of war and combat because the title of the book is about war. But the idea is how to avoid it.

Why? Because war is expensive.

When there’s a war, there’s a loss of human life, families are torn apart, resources are misallocated, and so on. It brings widespread suffering, and if we can avoid a war, we should.

The challenge is how to apply The Art of War to business and life. We know that conflicts are inevitable, and sometimes we must resort to fighting to reach a solution.

For example, if you’re in business and you face a determined competitor who wants to destroy you. What are you going to do? You can’t just stand there doing nothing. You need to find a way out, and you might have to fight.

But fighting is just one way to achieve victory. How can you win without fighting in this case?

For that, we need to understand what winning means.
