Every thought leads to an emotion.
Ok, it can be an emotion or a feeling. Even when I’m coding and need inspiration! Or when I trust what I’m doing and where I’m going! It could also be about the anticipation of a reward because that is why we take action.

The emotion or feeling creates a reaction. This manifests itself physically (symptomatically), behaviorally (physically or verbally), and decisionally (what choice we make).

When I often have negative thoughts, there is a high probability that feelings of anger, sadness, fear, and lack of confidence in my abilities will arise in my mind. The consequence is an increase in stress levels and a decrease in physical and mental well-being.

A high or very high level of stress, persistent over time, favors the appearance of health problems.

It’s not about an illusion, but about something measurable. Just as there are “stress hormones” (adrenaline, noradrenaline, cortisol), there are also “happiness hormones” that we alone can stimulate. The hormones of happiness include endorphins, dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin. A simple blood test highlights these substances. In the case of a more complex analysis, changes are highlighted both at the hormonal level and at the level of organ function.
