For a long time, I believed that it was an illusion to think that someone could be one way with the family that raised them and completely different at work. After all, you are the same person, with the same values and the same history behind you.

We are comparing apples to pears. It’s okay, both are fruits…

On one hand, it is true that in our relationships with family and colleagues, there are differences and different expectations. It’s normal because there are different requirements.

On the other hand, it is important to remember that we are the same individuals, regardless of where we are. Our identity encompasses various aspects and includes our relationships with family, friends, colleagues, and our hobbies.

Family is about love, support, and unconditional acceptance. The job is about professional development and connecting with others who share similar interests.
