The Recipes of the Mind: How to Achieve Desired Results Through Efficient Mental Strategies
You get results where you have a “recipe” you follow.
Whether leading a megaproject or making a simple omelette, you organize your thoughts… in the form of a recipe.
You start with one thought, then move to the next, then go further. In a clear succession, starting from a specific thought and ending with another. Never the other way around, never randomly; you always place the mental and emotional ingredients in their correct order to then move on to action.
If there isn’t an effective recipe for thoughts… you don’t take action and you don’t get results.
Thinking recipes (strategies) are either discovered through trial and error, or learned from someone who has tested them and achieved results.
This is the secret of success, the secret of the results you have in those areas where you are satisfied.
… and then there are the other areas… where you feel stuck, dissatisfied, unfulfilled, frustrated, and disappointed.
What’s missing? Is it luck? Karma? … or the correct mental strategy…
Everything in our minds, both pleasant and unpleasant, follows a strategy. A strategy is a recipe. And the ingredients are our thoughts.
